Olympus M. Zuiko Pro Lens For Your Real Estate Photoshoot

Build Quality and Proper Handling

You can think that a metal construction will make it quite “deep” for the m43, but that is not real and especially when compared to the heavier and bigger Full Frame or the APS-C sensor lens.

Image Quality and Sharpness

This 12-40mm delivered amazing quality, not just for the m43 lens, but when compared to so many other lenses that is available on the market.

This amazing section of engineering an Olympus is sharp across a frame. This also renders amazing shades.

Bokeh

Although it has that amazing bokeh depicting and topic isolation, to attain that maximum outcome in the images you will need to shoot widely open at f/2.8, and be very near to the maximum focal length and the subject.

When it is about the bokeh, the 40-150mm is preferable to use and also because of the help of its bigger focal length. The 12-40mm does not really lack quality, but it just has different characteristics.

Macro

This Olympus f/2.8 12-40mm is not created in the macro, but it had that amazing close detach shooting capability with a very short small focus distance of around 8 inches or 20cm, which makes it good also for the macro shots.

Autofocus

The Autofocus of the M. Zuiko f/2.8 12-40mm is the lightning fast and it is basically instantaneous. Base on some tests, it takes lesser than one second for an AF to go starting from minimum to perpetuity.

Super fast, it works really well in lower light and it is silent. The brilliant autofocus has been very accurate and based on the many ex full-frames shooter, even faster than the many DSLRs or the mirrorless full-frame competitor.

The L-Fn Button

This L-Fn button is close to the lenses mount that has been the function button, configurable by utilizing the Olympus cameras to assigned useful settings that is not necessarily connected to the lens by itself.

The white balance adjustment, AF-stop or focus peaking. It is situated in the most convenient space on the lens simply reachable with the left thumb.
